Abstract
Nowadays GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) has expanded to all round the world, and has become the broadest Communication System to be used. Short message based on GSM can be as a simple and convenient means of data communication. Its business and application are developing very quickly and widely. Using short message to transmit data is both effective and economic in the industrial control system. This paper presents a remote monitor and control system based on GSM shot message. The system is adopted to monitor the CNC Machining Center and Major equipment workshop, the performance of the system is satisfying.
