Abstract

The paper introduced the module of WDM device driver based on Windows XP,and analyzed the characteristics of development tool Driver Studio,especially,explained the important problem about the design of WDM device driver,methods,steps and notice.It also achieved the reading or writing and interruption program to the programmable I/O chip 8155,introduced the communications between device driver and application.
