CAD/CAE/CAM Integrated Design of Disc Cam Based on SolidWorks

Abstract

Based on on the integrated technology of CAD/CAE/CAM,the disc cam used on a micro switch is designed.The basic parameters of cam based on the nomograph used in engineering are estimated.The model design,finite element analysis,manufacturing simulation are carried out based on the software platform of SolidWorks.The integrated production of CAD/CAE/CAM is realized in the virtual environment,which greatly shorten the cycle of design and manufacture of the cam.
