Abstract
Objective To evaluate the application of craniotomy in the treatment for posterior fossa lesions. Methods Craniotomy were performed in 41 cases with posterior fossa lesions, including the suboccipital retrosigmoid approach and medial approach. Results No complications such as subcutaneous hydrocele or CSF leakage occurred;the skull had good appearance without defects;postoperative CT showed the bone flaps repositioned well. Conclusion The craniotomy in osterior fossa lesions can maintain the cranial anatomical integrity, avoid the disadvantages of psychological influence due to the skull defect, which is worth of promotion.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
