A Review of Environmental Security Research from the International Political Perspective

Environmental problems have deteriorated in recent years and have affected national security and social development,so environmental security attracts more and more attention in the field of international politics.There are,however,some different views on environmental security's origin,nature,characteristics,concept,and international effect among different scholars.It is important for us to distinguish from these points of view in order to understand environmental security's effect on the international politics.
