Abstract
In mid-ancient Chinese language,村 is a new word which means settlement and village.From the day of its birth,村 has been widely used in mid-ancient Chinese documents.The paper studies the using occasion and collocation of 村 in Chinese translation of Buddhist Scriptures,which helps to understand the usage of 村 in mid-ancient Chinese language.
