This article briefly introduces Leonhard Euler and his work in special numbers,and gives a new relationship between the two kinds of Euler numbers as well as a new identity about the second kind of Euler numbers.It is the 300th anniversary of his birth this year.This article is exclusively dedicated to him on the occasion.
