Abstract
Objective To investigate the biological characteristics of human gastric cancer celltransfected with Caspase 1 gene. Methods Recombinantretroviralvector with human Caspase 1 cDNA was transferred into human gastric cellline X 108 .The proliferation tumorigenicity ,cycle ofthe delivered cellline and the CEAconcentration in the supernate of cellculture were analyzed respectively .Results Apoptosis was notinduced ,butthe cellnumber of G1 stageincreased ,and of Sstage decreased . CEA concentration in supernate also decreased . The proliferation and the tumorigenicity of the gastric cancer cell line transfected with Caspase 1 gene were considerably inhibited. Conclusion Though apoptosis of the gastric cancer cell line X 108 transfected with Caspase 1 geneis notinduced ,the proliferation isinhibited .
