Abstract
In this paper,RS-232 serial port is used to carry out the communication between PC and NC machine.We take FANUC Oi CNC vertical milling machine for object to make a study of the MSCOMM control-box,design hardware circuits of CNC communication system and develop a serial communication software by using VB6.0.
