Abstract
In the past ten years, deep-water E P was conducted on a large-scale. But until now, deep-water drilling is still an immature and front domain. In this paper, the main difficulties in deep-water drilling are illustrated, the challenges are pointed out and the solutions to drilling problems are also explored. Base on drilling experiences from abroad, the dual gradient drilling and expandable tubulars technologies, which are suitable for deep-water drilling, have been presented. The drilling fluid system suitable for deep-water drilling has also been studied.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
