Abstract

The present city expand mode of Xi’an is the peripheral type.The peripheral expanding type is objective and reasonable during the conglomeration period,but it will bring some problems when the city develops to certain extent.Thus the construction of the satellite city is brought into schedule.The development situation of Xi’an satellite city is expatiated,the existing problems are pointed out,and development strategy of the satellite city is discussed.
