Abstract
Objective:To develop a method for the determination of Tin in water related products by Graphite furnace atomic absorption Spectrometry(GFAAS) and validated by ICP-MS.Methods: The samples is soaked in simulated water for 24 hours.Calcium nitrate was used as matrix modifiers,Tin was determined by GFAAS and ICP-MS.Results: The method showed good linearity(r=0.9993) in the range of 0~10 μg/L,the detection limit was 0.21 μg/L.The recoveries ranged from 96.3% to 102.2%,the relative standard deviation(RSD) were between 1.6%~3.7%.Conclusion: The method is simple,accurate and low background inferference.It can be applied to determine Tin in water related products.
