The construction and quality control for expressway rock embankment is one of the prominent difficulties encountered during construction Because of the big size and unevenness of the fillings, it brings difficulty in testing its density to make uniform quality criteria It does affect both construction management and engineering quality Through the engineering test and analysis in highway rock embankment, the authors point out the merit and shortcoming of different kinds of testing method, provide primary standard for engineering construction and quality control, and those for further study
