Abstract
This paper aims to provide a tentative overview of the central debates concerning the role of symbiosis and convergence in industrial system evolution.Based on the characteristics of IT industry, this paper firstly describes the relationship between industrial convergence, industrial symbiosis and industrial evolution, and then discusses the internal mechanism of symbiosis and convergence.Through the evolution modeling of industrial system and analyzing of symbiosis stability,we find that convergence can be achieved and convergent industry and original industry are symbiotic when subsystems cooperate mutually or the degree of competition isn't strong. And in this case, the information industrial system has more room for development.
