Abstract
Objective To evaluate therapeutic efficacy of minimally invasive rotary varicotomy(TriVexTM) for varicose veins of lower extremity. Methods 358 patients(520 limbs) with varicose veins were treated with TriVexTM,whose clinical data were analyzed. Results The average operation time for each limb was 35 min.The average number of incisions for rotary varicotomy was 4.18.The average hospital stay was 6 d.The complications included legs cellulites(7 limbs),ecchymoma(47 limbs) and deep vein thrombosis(1 limb). There were 2 limbs relapsed 1 year after operation. Conclusions TriVexTM demonstated many advantages including minimal invasion, quick recovery, safety and cosmetic effect in treatment of varicose veins of lower extremity.
