Expression of survivin and Cox-2 in colonic adenomatous polyp and colon cancer

Abstract
Objective To detect the expression of Survivin and Cox-2 in colonic adenomatous polyp and colon cancer.Methods The samples of colonic adenomatous polyp and colon cancer were collected from Jan 2006 to Dec 2007,and the expressions of Survivin protein and Cox-2 protein in 40 colonic adenomatous polyp,40 colon cancer and normal mucous membrane were examined with immunohistochemical staining.Results The expressions of Survivin and Cox-2 in normal mucous membrane,colonic adenomatous polyp and colon cancer were strengthened in turn,and there were significant difference among them(P0.01).Conclusion Survivin and Cox-2 mould be a important stimulative factor in the progression of colonic adenomatous polyp and colon cancer,and it had important significance for predicting adenomatous polyposis canceration and chemical interfering canceration progress.
