Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and its affecting factors of micro-vitrectomy in extraction of traumatic epiretinal membrane. To evaluate the efficacy of two method in extraction of traumatic epiretinal membrane. Methods 96 cases(96 eyes)of macular epiretinal membrane extracted with pars plana vitrectomy form January 1999 to March 2002 were analysed retrospectively. Results All of the traumatic epiretinal membrane were extracted successfully. Conclusions Vitrectomy is feasible in extraction of traumatic epiretinal membrane.
