Abstract
The general design method and principle of piston for internal combustion engine have been introduced. Depending on the analysis of the calculation of temperature field,temperature stress,mechanical stress and comprehensive stress between them,the key problem of piston for internal combustion engine has been interpreted. A practical design mean of piston for internal combustion engine has been put forward.
