Abstract

The factors affecting the luminous efficiency of color plasma display panel (PDP) are analyzed, and four methods, including xenon fraction of 10% , the new cell design, the structure with positive column discharge and the use of radio frequency voltage, are introduced to increase the luminous efficiency of color PDP.
