Analysis of Minority's Income to Meat Consumption:Based on Distributed Lag Model

Because of the religion, diets and consumption habits of minority residents are different from other areas. In this paper, urban and rural residents' income and meat consumption data since the year of 1991 are used with distributed lag model to analysis the impact of income on meat consumption. The results show that in addition to the price level, current income also has a significant impact on the current meat consumption. Moreover, the previous income has some impact on the residents. In addition, the impacts of income on meat consumption between urban and rural residents are significantly different.
