Analysis on the Epidemic Features of Syphilis in Tongliao City,1996-2010

[Objective]To understand the tendency and epidemic features of syphilis in Tongliao city,1996-2010,so as to provide basis for working out the strategies of prevention and control of syphilis in the future.[Methods]Analysis was made on the epidemic distribution of syphilis in Tongliao city,1996-2010.[Results]1 474 syphilis cases were reported during 1999-2010,up year by year,the incidence was 3.17/105.Syphilis cases were most Ⅰ of syphilis,715,recessive syphilis was the second.The incidence of male was 1.63/105,the incidence of female was 1.55/105;syphilis was the highest in the 20-29 age group,32.80%;The first three occupation:farmer,jobless and others,35.10%,20.00/% and 16.60% respectivelyly.[Conclusion]The tendency goes up in overall incidence of syphilis,mainly young adults and farmers.
