Abstract

Miao people's names reflects the development of Miao people's life and history and play an inestimable role in comprehending the vicissitude of Miao people's culture, which has an important value in academic research. Miao people's names exist two forms: Miao type and Han type. The former is a prototype of Miao people's names, obeying special naming custom and related with its history and culture; the latter adapting to Han culture, reflects the change of Miao people's naming discipline.
