Defending for Utilitarianism

Abstract
Utilitarianism is often misunderstood and misinterpreted.However,as an important theory in the world,utilitarianism has its profound theoretic and realistic foundation.This paper,starting with the basic connotation and effect theories of utilitarianism,utilitarianism and populace-oriented thought in ancient China,the relationships between utilitarianism the moral-institutional school in Southern Song,the relationships between utilitarianism and Deng Xiaoping Theory,defends for utilitarian thought,and positively advocates the ethics of utilitarianism.
