Abstract
Philosophical Investigations is a masterpiece that best represents linguistic philosophy of Wittgenstein in his late period.Philosophy is regarded as a fight,a descriptive,analytic,and therapeutic practice.Philosophical problems would be dissolved through dating back to their linguistic roots and by clearly describing different usages of language.Late Wittgenstein opened up a new philosophy road.This article first introduces several topics of the book,then discusses late Wittgenstein's linguistic philosophy,and finally evaluates its significance.
