Abstract
Wide-aperture and highly collimated light beam is needed in Ladar and correction of spectrum apparatus. In this paper, one beam expander is design with beam aperture of 16mm and expander ratio of 20.By adjusting the interval between eyepiece and object lens, the beam expander can expand laser beam from 543.5nm to 850nm.By comparing the change of modulation transfer function of spectral imager with ideal collimated monochromatic light and with expanded and collimated beam by laser beam expander,it is illustrated that the beam expander is valid.
