Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effects and safety of tension-type headache with acupuncture and Chinese traditional medicine.Methods All 78 patients were randomly divided into two groups,the control group(39 patients) treated with Saridon,and the treatment group(39 patients) treated with acupuncture and Chinese traditional medicine.In the treatment of 4 weeks before and after treatment,the degree of headache and scores of HAMA and HAMD were compared.Results The degree of headache and scores of HAMA and HAMD of treatment group were significantly lower than that in control group(P 0.05),and the clinial effects of treatment group were significantly better than that in control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture and Chinese traditional medicine can alleviate patients's headache and improve patients's psychosis.
