Abstract

This article studies the mission of China's science popularization from the historical perspective. Through inspecting the history of science popularization and the background of science and technology,we may know that the science popularization is adapted to the development phase of contemporary science and technology, moreover, it is connected with the destiny of science and technology. In technology times, the new characteristics of science and technology make the science popularization have new changes. After analyzing the background of science, technology and culture in contemporary China,the article proposes the mission of China's science popularization in technology times.
