Research Progress and Some Problems on Cluster Bamboo in China

Based on lots of literature data and research achievements of cluster bamboo in China,the study progress in physics and mechanics,chemistry of bamboo wood,in genetics and breeding,species introduction and domestication, in silviculture,ecology and control of plant diseases insect pests of cluster bamboo forest,and in bamboo shoot and ornamental of cluster bamboo were summarized and analyzed emphatically in the paper.And some problems needed to further research were given and relevant suggests were put forward.
