Foundation of Index Systems and Application of the Sustainable Development in Henan Province

The paper, on the basis of the present situation, first points out the existing problems of index system of regional sustainable development, then designs its index system from system function and takes an effective dispose by using influence power main ingredient and independence analysis. At last, combining the development situation of Henan province in 1990s, the author designs concrete index system of regional sustainable development and obtains an effective index system after sifting. By means of the improved AHP method, the paper has taken a quantitative analysis of the capacity of Henan's sustainable development, and then finds out its capacity has been gradually strengthened with fluctuation to a certain degree.
