Abstract
Traffic generation is the key technology of network traffic simulation and network device benchmarking.With the development of network,traffic generation faced the challenge of performance,accuracy,and flexibility.This paper introduces a flexible IXP2400-based high-speed traffic generation method comprising two components,namely,an IXPBTG platform and a traffic rate control algorithm based on experiential formula or feedback mechanism.
