Abstract

Objective To study the effect of OT on apraxia in hemiplegies after stroke. Method Thirty patients were diagnoised hemiplegies after stroke with apraxia and given OT for apraxia in 2- 6 monthes , apraxia assessed in Apraxia Test and ADL assessed in Barthel Index. Result The apraxia and ADL were improved after 2- 6 monthes treatment, construction apraxia and dressing apraxia were improved 57.1% and 50.0% , ideomotor apraxia and ideotional apraxia were improved 80.0% and 81.8% ; ADL of melokinetic apraxia was improved 98.5% , the other kinds of apraxia were improved 72.0% , construction apraxia wasn't improved. There are obviously different between the pre- trainning and the post- trainning(P 0.05). Conclusion The OT of rehabilitation trainning may improve the apraxia and ADL.
