Abstract

Objective: To understand the conditions of rat plague epidemics in The Maryland Base of Yueyahu. Methods: The rodent control was taken as the leading role of comprehensive measures of prevention and control, the epidemiological investigation was carried out in the area of rat plague epidemics. Desbite of this, the other work was done for eliminating rats in large area. Results: The effect of eliminating rats was good as 96. 07%. The density of rat decreased from 6. 87 per hectare to 0. 27 per hectare. The rat plague epidemic was controlled. Conclusion: The control measures for the rat plague were effective without delay. The aim of avoiding human plague has been attained. But, this area adjoins the regions of eat plague foci in The county of etuokeqian county. Inner Mongolia. The density in some regions has not yet reached the standard of stable control. The rat plague will outbreak possibly next year.
