Abstract
Information retrieval model is the frame and method which mainly represent and calculate the similarity of the query and document.Traditional retrieval models includes Boolean retrieval model,probability retrieval model,vector retrieval model and fuzzy retrieval model.Now they develop to a new stage.Hot research areas are centered on those models which have strong theory foundation and clear advantages.Some practical strategies including relevance feedback,cluster,regression analysis and grammatical analysis can be used to improve retrieval result and retrieval performance.
