Analysis of the Causes of Asphalt Pavement Diseases and Preventive Countermeasures

This paper briefly introduces the common forms of the asphalt pavement diseases, analyzes on the causes of these diseases from the design codes, the proportioning ratio of the asphalt concrete, the control of the temperature of the asphalt concrete mixing, the influence of the horizontal cross-operation in the construction on the pavement quality, and the non-scientific activities of government, etc., and puts forward some measures for radical treatment of the pavement diseases from aspects of the design, construction and pavement maintenance.
