Abstract
Objective To understand the comprehensive intervention effects on behavior change and treatment in diabetic patients, and provide basis for making effective management measures of chronic disease.Method 220 people were randomly selected from diabetic patients in 4 communities of Chengde and divided into intervention group and control group.Intervention group were given comprehensive intervention measures for a year, and measures included health education, diet treatment, exercise treatment, drug treatment, and self blood glucose monitoring.Control group was given traditional diabetes treatment. Results After comprehensive intervention, awareness rate of diabetes related knowledge and self behavior change rate were obviously improved than before intervention and better than control group(P0.05).Fasting blood-glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin were significantly lower too(P0.05),and descending range were lower than control group(P0.05).Conclusions Carried out diabetic comprehensive intervention in communities could improve diabetic patients self management ability, change unhealthy life styles, reduce diabetes risk factors, decrease diabetic complication and lower the patient's medical expenses and improve the quality of life.
