Abstract

Objective:Developing a method to determine the thirteen volatile halogenated hydrocarbons in drinking water. Methods: The thirteen volatile halogenated hydrocarbons in drinking water were determined by headspace capillary gas chromatography. Results: Under the optimal experimental conditions, the recoveries of the thirteen volatile halogenated hydrocarbons were in the range of 81.3%~104.7%,the relative standard deviations were from 1.52% to 5.68%,and the determination limited is between 0.025 μg/L~8.4 μg/L.Conclusion: The method we developed is rapid, simple and accurate.Using the method,a variety of volatile halogenated hydrocarbons could be determined simultaneously.
