Abstract
In August 2008,the community struction of crustacean zooplankton in Youxijiemian Reservoir were studied. The crustacean zooplankton in the reservoir was simple in species composition,including 16 species in 8 Family and 13 generas,among which 8 species in 7 generas was cladecera and 8 species in 6 generas copepoda. Among the cladocerans,Limnosida froniosa and Diaphanosoma leuchtenbergianum had a relatively wide distribution,the predominant specie of copepads was Microcyclops leuckarti. The mean density of crustacean zooplankton was 43. 58 ind. /L and the mean biomass was 477. 43 μg/L.
