Abstract
Objective To explore the causes of hepatic dysfunction and diagnosis value of iconography examinations. Methods From January to December 2008, 223 inpatients with hepatic dysfunction, ranged from 18 to 83 years old, received lab and iconography examinations, including B-ultrasonic wave, CT and MRI. Results One hundred and thirty-five inpatients (60.54%) with hepatic dysfunction suffered from hepatic diseases, 83 (37.22%) suffered from extra-hepatic diseases, 5 (2.24%) had no clear reasons. The percentages were 60.54%, 37.22% and 2.24% respectively. B-ultrasonic wave examination could be used regularly because it was a harmless, cheap and accurate means. Conclusion Many diseases could result in hepatic dysfunction. Among them, medicamentous hepatitis, bile duct system disease and fatty liver are the common ones.
