Abstract
In order to evaluate the kill effect of air-to-air missile in air combat training,a general missile simulation model is proposed. The model simulates the trajectory of missile based on physical, kinematics, dynamic, and guidance characteristics of missile. The kill effect of missile is assessed based on missile miss distance and expected approach time. Simulation results show that the model is lightweight and easy to realize in the embedded system. The missile attack process and the launch envelop is same as the actual missile. The model can be used for real-time evaluation of air-to-air missile attack.
