Abstract
Study the effects of exogenous salicylic acid on cauliflower seeds germination and seedlings growth under different concentration cadmium stress. Results showed that germination of cauliflower were not affected notably by 0.01-0.10 mmol/L Cd2+ treatment. But germination percent, germination index, seedlings height, radicles length, vigor index and chlorophyll contents were significantly decreased, while the content of MDA and praline increased with the increased Cd2+ levels, and activities of POD、CAT、APX were rapidly increased to remove ROS.Exogenous salicylic acid could effectively alleviate growth inhibition and induce demage to oxidative by Cd stess at high levels.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
