Theoretical Contest and the Understanding and Practice of Theory——A Case Study of the Spread of Socialism Theory in China for a Century

The trend of socialism thought,introduced to China at the end of 19th century and beginning of 20th century,flourished even overrun in the early of Public of China.The contest between various socialism theories helped the spread of scientific socialism.However,further discussion on socialism failed to continue due to hostility and from Kuomintang administration,etc.And the necessary discussion on socialism had to be suspended for a variety of reasons after the founding of the Peoples's Republic of China.Hence,for a long time there exists the problem of merely advocating doctrine in the context of ambiguous understanding,which does harm to both the development of Marxism and socialist course.
