On Folklore of Bai People's Embroidery in Yunnan Province——Taking Hewei Village of Shangguan Township in Dali Prefecture as an Example

The Bai people is an ethnic community with a long history,heavy population and splendid culture.In the long-run history,the Bai people have been praised for their unique embroidering culture with multi-colors and wonderful skills.Dali district is a place where most Bai people inhabit and the Bai cultures are well preserved in Yunnan province.The paper,from the angle of digging up Dali Bai people's embroidering culture,studies and explores historical origins,cultural connotation and techniques of Bai's embroidery,and offers some suggestions for developing and protecting Bai's embroidery,by taking Hewei village in Dali city for distance.
