College Education Innovation with a View to Facing Knowledge Economy

The definition of knowledge economy is discussed. It is held that knowledge economy is a kind of economy which based in knowledge and high quality talent. The challenge of knowledge economy to universities is analyzed. It is believed that to carry out the creative education and to foster creativity talents is a fundamental mission faced by universities. It is emphasized that to foster the creative talents, the freedom of thinking, an equal atmosphere, the system of free choices are necessary.Therefore, creative education must be realized through education innovation.
