Analgesic effect of dezocine in PCEA for postpartum pain

Objective To observe the clinical effect and adverse reactions of dezocine in patient controlled epidural analgesia(PCEA) for postpartum pain.Methods Seventy-five patients with cesarean section(ASAⅠ～Ⅱ) were divided into 3 groups,with 25 cases in each group.Group A was given 1.0 mg dezocine+10 ml 0.15% ropivacaine for load dosage,and 10 mg dezocine+100 ml 0.15% ropivacaine for analgesia;Group B was given 1.5 mg dezocine+10 ml 0.15% ropivacaine for load dosage,and 10 mg dezocine+100 ml 0.15% ropivacaine for analgesia;Group C was given 1.5 mg morphine+10 ml 0.15% ropivacaine for load dosage,and 3 mg morphine+100ml 0.15% ropivacaine for analgesia.The background flow was 2 ml/h,the single press additional(PCA) dose was 0.5 ml,and the lock out time was 15 min.The VAS scores 2 h,4 h,8 h,12 h,24 h,and 48 h after surgery were recorded,and the adverse reactions were observed.Results VAS scores 4 h,8 h,12 h after surgery in group A was significantly higher than those in group C(P0.05).The adverse reactions was significantly more in group C than the other two groups(P0.05).The patients in the group B and group C were significantly more satisfied than those in group A(P0.05).Conclusion Dezocine has better analgesic effect and less adverse reactions using the load dosage of 1.5 mg dezocine+10 ml 0.15% ropivacaine and analgesia of 10 mg dezocine+100 ml 0.15% ropivacaine.
