Abstract
This review addressed the recent progress in the analysis of amino acids using capillary electrophoresis(CE).The advantages and disadvantages of direct and derivatization methods were discussed,respectively.The applications of several detection methods,including UV,laser-induced fluorescence(LIF),mass spectrometry(MS) and electrochemical detection(EC),in the analysis of amino acids were summarized in detail.And a special attention was paid to the separation of chiral amino acids.
