Abstract
The responses to toxicity of the beta-cypermethrin4.5EC and th e parathion-methyl·phox-im-methyl·beta-cypermethrin40EC were compared by bioassay method on the susceptible of cotton bollworm Helicoverpa armigera. The results showed that the values of LC 50 of two pesticides were18.5643and11.6494mg/kg,the contrastive value of LC 50 of two pesticides was1.594,which agreed with that the former was remar kly best to the later in the toxicity of the susceptible cotton bollworm.
