Abstract
Based on the principle of electrical measurement of soil moisture,a kind of equipment was designed which could get soil moisture through the direct measure of soil resistance.Experimental research on the relation between soil moisture and soil resistance of dry loess in Gansu were carried out to obtain the change laws between moisture and resistance of dry loess by using this equipment.A simulation model on the relation between soil moisture and soil resistance was developed.Result of experiment showed the stable relation and high repeat precision between soil moisture and soil resistance when soil moisture w≥8.5%,and soil resistance increased quickly along with the diminishing of soil moisture when soil moisture w8.5%.
