Abstract
This paper makes a comparative study on traditional sports of migratory Mongolian living in Yunnan and Xinjiang province by using the method of literature review and historical investigation.The result shows that social change has both direct and indirect influence on the development of traditional Mongolian sports.Changes of geographic environment,mode of production,language and population have significant influence on the traditional Mongolian sports.In the process of migration Mongolian people have been interacting with other nationalities,which enrich the depth and range of the traditional Mongolian sports.
