Abstract
The artistry of Li Shangyin's love poems are profound;his terms are had tounderstand; suddenly broken and suddenly continuous; either that or this. Namely his poems have a obscure prettiness. Because Li Shangyin was frustrated and disappointed at politics, and he had not the lovethat he deserved love, gotcl but lost again. Moreover, he was good at learning delicately polished language of forefathers' writing in an ornatcl style, thus the characteristic obscure style of his love poems. In this paper, the obscure prettiness of LI Shangyin's love poems is analyzed from imagery, morphology,syntax and organization.
