Abstract
In this paper we design a video image real-time processing system based on general high speed DSP TMS320C6416.The hardware circuit of this system,in which DSP acts as the core of the system,includes video signal acquisition circuit,video signal conversion circuit,MCU control circuit and logic control circuit,etc.The software in the system is designed with acquisition setting and enablement module,interrupting acknowledgement module,transmission module among several RAM and real-time processing of the image data.Finally edge detection algorithm is validated in the image processing system,and experiment results are given in this paper.
